The Mass Audio Notification form allows you to associate a Zone ID preconfigured in the Network Zones form with a Multicast Address and Multicast Port, thus connecting all supported telephone sets in the specified network zone to the multicast channel (defined by Multicast Address and Multicast Port) over which audio notifications can be sent.
Changes to the Zone ID field in the following forms: Station Attributes, User and Services Configuration, Location Specification, Location Specification IPv6, Network Elements, or changes to the Multicast Address or Multicast Port fields in the Mass Audio Notification form are communicated to the affected sets through the distribution of multicast information.
